Cancho Roano is usually described as a Tartessian sanctuary complex. Its courtyards, rooms and surrounding ditch preserve a carefully organised place, while its final destruction appears deliberate. That controlled ending is as important to the episode as the objects recovered from the site.
The motorcycle line approaches through wide agricultural country rather than dramatic mountain roads. That apparent emptiness is useful: the sanctuary’s isolation becomes part of the visual language. Heat and long distances between stops will shape the practical route.
Tartessos is often pulled into stories much larger than the evidence supports. Dust Pilgrim will distinguish the excavated site from later legends and avoid presenting disputed interpretations as fact. Access and filming details will be verified before departure.
